R.I.P.-- Harold Pinter, Critically acclaimed playwright.  Known for adding dramatic tension through silence: the famous  "Pinter's pause".   When I was in Repertory Theater in New York, we did his Tony Award-winning  {Best Play  1967}  "The Homecoming".

         --Eartha Kitt, Terrific black lady who could sing blues to jazz; she had an influence on the teenagers who became  "The Beatles"!
