Yesterday on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon welcomed
famous serious actor experimental fork user Jake Gyllenhaal, who stopped by the show to promote his new movie Southpaw defend his use of forks for back scratching purposes.
When Fallon calls attention to a recent Daily Mail paparazzi shot of Gyllenhaal using a fork to scratch an itch in an “uncouth” way, Gyllenhaal stands by his right to use a fork for stuff other than eating. The
actor fork connoisseur makes a convincing argument, but the debate about whether or not this practice is uncouth will surely last the rest of every single one of our lives combined.
Do YOU think it’s uncouth to scratch your back with a fork? Vote in the comments, just know we are not tallying the results, so that’s your responsibility.
