Our team of 37 heavily caffeinated editors has spent all day hand-crafting a brilliantly selected array of the best TV clips from last night so you don’t miss anything you shouldn’t. Watch what you want, skip what you don’t. Just be sure to swing back around tomorrow for more of yesterday’s greatest stuff.
Last night Starlee Kine, host of the delightful podcast Mystery Show and chief detective in the case of finding Jake Gylenhaal’s much disputed (on CelebHeights.com) measurements, talked to Conan about her height-related findings, and how even after she got Gyllenhaal to admit his true height there were some truthers who didn’t believe it. So Conan brought out Gyllenhaal to measure him for everyone to see with their own eyes. Podcasts make good television!
On The Late Late Show, James Corden, Ben Schwartz, and Jessica Alba all prank called Alba’s company’s “pitch line,” which she insists to Corden is just a customer service hotline and not actually a phone number for pitches, but with an attitude like that how are you gonna pitch anything successfully, Jessica? Is it OK if we call you Jessica??
Speaking of attitude, Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon dished out some serious ‘tudez while engaging in an “Emotional Interview.” One might argue that “thinks Miley’s name is Morley” is not an emotion, per se, but hey, it’s Friday, let’s not argue anymore. #TGIF #TGIMorley
Over on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel hosted a children’s focus group to talk about presidential candidates, as well as Abe Lincoln, how to spell poop, 0 + 0, and other highly debated discussion topics.
And finally here’s a clip of Ellen suggesting some baby names for Kim K. and Kanye’s second child. They discuss why it won’t be South, but maybe it will be Head. (It won’t be Head!)
