After his death in 2009 we never expected to see Michael Jackson again. But MTV announced yesterday that the King of Pop has risen from the dead for a follow up to his 1983 "Thriller" video.
In a press conference last night the director John Landis spoke of Jacko rising from his grave at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Memorial Park and coming to Landis' Hollywood home.
"He said to me, 'Thriiiiiiilleeeer. Braaains. Uuuugg,' and I was all for it," Landis told media. "Since he's already a zombie we saved money on make up this time."
Apparently production was halted for three days when Michael's head fell off during a grueling dance sequence. But that didn't stop the pop icon.
"He truly is the most dedicated performer I've ever worked with," Landis continued. "If we could just get him to stop eating the P.A.'s we'd be fine."
The video is set to premiere on MTV in early 2013.
