It seems to be a trend.

In a move widely believed to be a gesture toward ending her feud with Taylor Swift, pop star Katy Perry has changed the lyrics in her song “Swish Swish.” The line “Don’t you come for me” was replaced with the new line: “God bless you on your journey, oh baby girl.”

But Katy Perry’s not alone. Here are just a few of the other musicians who have recently changed their lyrics in what appear to be attempts to please Swift:

Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage
Then someone will say I’m really wishing you the best, girl. Do your thing.

From “Lose Yourself”

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti
He turns on 1989. Now he’s calm and steady. “Out of the Woods” totally gets him ready.

Neil Diamond
