Jon Stewart ends his 16 year tenure of hosting 'The Daily Show' tonight. Here are some memorable firsts from the show.

All good things must come to an end. That’s also the case for all great things and it’s also what happens to things that are arguably the greatest. After 16 years of hosting The Daily Show, Jon Stewart is headed off to live on a farm somewhere with lots of other Jon Stewarts. He’ll be happy there, we promise.

As a farewell to late night’s voice of reason, here are some of his most memorable firsts from his long tenure of hosting the show. Bonne chance, Jon!
