Tom Brady gives you six tips to help you get a better night's sleep.

Nothing is more important than a good night’s sleep. Whether you’re one of the winningest quarterbacks in the history of football, or if you’re just a normal quarterback with only, like, 2 or 3 rings, there are so many benefits to being well rested. So here are six hot tips Funny or Die got from quarterback and G.O.A.T. Tom Brady for how he gets the most z’s and how you can too!

CREATE A PRE-SLEEP ROUTINE TO RELAX

Shut down your devices 30 minutes before sleep to quiet the mind. And after shutting down your phones and tablets, relax with a comforting activity like polishing your four championship rings. Don’t have championship rings to polish? Don’t worry! You could also polish your two MVP awards.

BE CONSISTENT WITH BED TIME

Sleep is better if you train your body to get into a rhythm, and a consistent bedtime is crucial. Just make sure you’re actually in your bed when you fall asleep, like Tom. Don’t fall asleep in the middle of the fourth quarter of a big game, like some other quarterbacks we won’t name here.

STAY COOL

The ideal sleep temperature is 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Colder than you would expect. Think “New England home field advantage” cold. Not Green Bay cold. We’re not insane.

KEEP THE NOISE DOWN

In order to get the best sleep it’s important to create a quiet environment. So keep noise to a minimum, or use a noise machine. To help nod off we suggest listening to audio recordings of Tom Brady making Ocean Breeze sounds, Stormy Weather sounds, Whale Sounds, or blowing into a Coach’s Whistle.

AIR QUALITY IS KEY

Contaminants like animal dander and dust can restrict your breathing, so make sure you do a clean sweep of the room to keep it clear. How clean of a sweep? As clean as Tom’s two games against New York in virtually any season.

Animal dander can cause you to lose sleep, so attack it.

WEAR UNDER ARMOUR TB12 RECOVERY SLEEPWEAR

Your pads protect you on the field; Under Armour TB12 Recovery Sleepwear helps your body recover faster, and protects you in your bed. Don’t wear your pads to bed. We’re told it’s uncomfortable.

And there you have it! Follow these six incredibly simple tips and you’ll be achieving your dreams, both literally and figuratively, in no time. Trust Tom Brady, the Boston Snuggler himself.
