ear on the ball

one time my kid brother was playin a baseball game and i was sittin with my mom and dad on a blanket and we were eatin egg salad sandwiches. one baseball boy hit a ball high and hard to my brother. but he was so little he couldn't catch it. the ball hit my kid brother in the ear and split it, makin enough blood to stain his whole neck. it was sad that he got hurt, but i was happy it wasn't me.
that's why it was a sad time and a happy time.
