Google takes their self-driving car technology to the most logical place.

Internet giant, Google, announced the launch of the next phase of their self-driving car technology in partnership with adult-film production company, Bangbus.

According to Nate McMillan, Google’s lead designer on the car project, this was always the next step for the technology. “We knew, from the beginning, that this was a hugely important test,” said McMillan. “The cars, in their current form, can find road signs, streets, maneuver around construction, and now we’re going to find out if the technology can identify on-foot porn stars.”

For Bang Bus, the possibilities for the technology, are a real game changer. “As it stands currently, one of the hardest things to do is find drivers that won’t be distracted by the filming. In the past we’ve had drivers who’ve had one eye on the road, one hand on the wheel, and one other hand on something else,” said Hector Elongo, Bang Bus performer and director. “With Google’s self-driving technology in one our vans, we could eliminate the driver all together.”

“By eliminating the driver, the self-driving Bang Bus could increase its fuel efficiency too.” said McMillan. “And allow them more time to cruise the suburbs of Miami and find, like, Gianna Michaels, hypothetically speaking.”

In 2012, Florida passed legislation allowing self-driving cars on their roads and reports are that government officials themselves are excited about the prospects of Google and Bang Bus working together.

“We can’t wait to get these self-driving vans on the road,” said McMillan. “We’ve spent a lot of man hours teaching the software to recognize the distinct gait of women that have sex on camera and frankly if this doesn’t work, it won’t be just be our department that’s disappointed, it’ll be everyone. Mostly guys though.”
