Wendy Freshner (19) Standing by the pet washing station. Wendy is busy taking shampoo out of a wet golden cockapoo’s fur.
There you are Honey. Now just be careful to not eat the soap.
I am talking to a dog.
Carla Quezno walks in. She is dressed to the nines. She is overly made up. Her hair is big and full of curls. She is talking on the phone.
I do not care Carmen; you cannot keep seeing that man! He is twice your age and I do not care that looks and sounds like a member from One Direction.
Do not take that tone with me. I am your Mother damn it and you have to respect my rules. Okay I’ll see you when you come home at midnight.
Carla hangs up her phone.
(Scolding) No. no. That is not the proper way to wash Honey’s hair.
(Confused) But I followed the directions correctly Mrs. Quezno. I made Honey comfortable. I gave her favorite toy, I made sure that I used the right shampoo…
Did you rinse out her hair with the purified water compote?
I used the water spray that you recommended.
(Stricken) No. No. No. You cannot use that simple plain water on Mister. Willington’s prized golden cockapoo.
What’s the big deal? It is just water.
Just water?! I will have you know young lady, That Mister Willington is a very important client. Honey is a top pedigree of her kind. I am surprised that she even let you use common water on her precious fur.
Honey makes a undignified sniff and turns her head arrogantly to the side.
Rinse that soap out of her hair immediately. And make sure to use the purified this time. Oh Mr. Willington you came here early….
In walks Mister Willington. He dressed in faux fur coat, wearing a fedora and walking with a cane with a gold gem on top. He has a mole on his right cheek.
(Horrified)What have you done to my precious little Honey. Her fur is so wet with ordinary plain water.
(Stunned) How can you possibly tell that?
Your holding that atrocious water contraption. Oh the tragedy of it all!
Oh I am so sorry about this Mister Willington I am going to fire that particular employee.
Fire me?! For using just plain water? Is that a bit extreme?
Fire her immediately! Unless you want to say goodbye to your highest paying customer.
Of course Mister Willington. Freshner, you are fired!
Fine. I hope you enjoy my send off.
Wendy sprays both Carla and Mister Willington with the water sprayer.
End of Sketch.
