so i think i blew my creative wad in the studio this week. been trying to think of something besides the whole jimmy dean carlson situation to talk about, but everytime i come here now i think of that. i do wanna say this, from where i'm standing dave mcbrayer has done a fantastic job trying to rectify this situation and i for one am glad that he is th FOD prez...i never thought that meant anything, but i guessi was wrong. GO DAVE! ok, so i suppose i'll share part of what i splooged, artistically speaking, all over  myself this week. wrote two songs about how i feel about being and towards other americans. sadly, the music is not ready more general consumption yet (unless you live in harlem, then you might hear me playing it with my acoustic guitar, but that isn't that great), so you just get the words. yeah, some of you have seen one of these, but i don't care, i'm gonna be artistically egotistical today. suck on it. the emigrant's song i used to walk out with my head held high i said the things you wanted and it wasn't always right it just felt good to be a part of this and all i had to do was pursue my own happiness BUT NOW we face the truth at last you blinked first and now it seems the good times all have past BUT NOW you took what i had left this is not what i had learned to... (chorus) Love is in my hands tonight i'm holding onto it you don't get to be part of this peaceful and forgiving bliss you cannot handle it i'm gonna bring  you down to this try to understand what really makes you tick the more i learn the the more that i start feeling sick BUT NOW we get to drink some new...blood we hope it won't be cold and bitter like yours was i should have known, we should known when you refused to show me any... Love is in my hands tonight i'm holding onto it you don't get to be part of this peaceful and forgiving bliss you cannot handle it i'm gonna bring  you down to this yeah, so if you can't tell that one was a little inspired by our current US administration. on to the other one...written after/during my night in a harlem jail with two tranny-hookers say it loud she wakes up in a garden she wakes up warm and dry everything she want/needs is at her fingertips in spite of this, the way that she decides to start the day is by pissing on the ground that held her warm and dry at night she will consume this garden she'll face no consequence there is nothing left and she is beyond any retribution as far as she can see it all belongs to her and what she wanted from the start was to have everything (chorus) so why doesn she worry      about looking so young she already knows      where all her meals are coming from "it's all taking care of. stay home and get high" it's all that she wants to hear so say it loud she wakes up in a wasteland it doesn't matter where it's like this every place and nothing that she does can save her now that she has lost the need to see beyond her cute accessories (chorus) so why doesn she worry      about looking so young she already knows      where all her meals are coming from "it's all taking care of. stay home and get high" it's all that she wants to hear so say it loud she only wants a new place to stay it's gotta have good light and no rent to pay and if she has to settle for less than that she'll go where pot is cheap and the food will still get you fat say it loud      it's gonna be fine say it loud      stay home and get high say it loud      we're all doin' just fine say it loud      as long as we're blind everything will be just fine so just stay home and get high yes, everything will be just fine it doesn't really matter 'cause we're all so fucking blind/high thus endeth my pretention.
