An eight year old child has been detained indefinitely at a local psychiatric facility after brutally torturing two homeless men seeking shelter, as temperatures dropped below freezing yesterday.
Sources say that the boy lured the two unarmed men into his home, then proceeded to maim, burn, mutilate and disfigure them with a series of booby traps that experts claim must have required ‘months of planning’.
Police who attended the scene were understood to be horrified at the level of malice perpetrated by the child. The tools used were said to include blowtorches, paint cans, crowbars, irons, Christmas decorations and even a Tarantula. One local Police Officer claimed the diabolical nature of these traps surpassed anything he’d encountered in over thirty years on the force:
The sheer damage inflicted both physically and mentally by this debauched individual is harrowing. To put it bluntly, this child should never be allowed to see the light of day again.
The two homeless victims are both said to be in critical condition.
Quite why the child was alone in his family home is still unknown at this point, though one possible theory is that his family simply chose to go on a Christmas vacation without him. Every member of the child’s extended family (who for legal reasons cannot be named) is currently being questioned by the authorities as to their knowledge of his depraved actions during the period they were gone.
In an alarming twist, some neighbors have claimed that the family were in fact present in the 1.5 million dollar home the entire time. Noise complaints and reports of silhouettes in the windows lend credence to this theory, but police are not ruling out that this was simply another one of the miscreant child’s elaborate ruses.
What is known is that the child was working with at least one accomplice, his neighbor, a villainous octogenarian armed with a snow shovel. This man is wanted for an array of disturbing crimes related to dozens of missing persons, dating back decades.
Due to the sheer volume of mind-numbing drugs administered at the psychiatric facility, the child is unavailable for comment, and it is doubtful he ever will be.
