Who could have seen this coming?

Wow. That’s the only word that can truly sum up what transpired in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.

There are shocking moments in sports, and then there’s all-time great boxer Floyd Mayweather destroying MMA fighter Conor McGregor in a boxing match, knocking him out in 10 rounds.

I mean, who could have seen it coming?

Those who supposedly did were always talking about how Mayweather had won 49 times before this and had lost 0 times. And that McGregor had also lost 0 times, but had won 0 times, because he had never been in a professional boxing match before, and plays a different sport.

BUT… that sport also involves punching, so McGregor should have stood a great chance, right?

Who could have seen this coming?

Plus, McGregor is really good at the other sport and said over and over that he was going to win this fight.

So it was just plain surreal to see him lose.

This bombshell result will take many days, and probably weeks to process. There was just no way to see it coming, and no way to handle the result.

What do you think? Was this the most shocking moment in sports history? Let us know in the comments!
