"Something about this just feels right.", said Will Cleveland: comedian, imporvisor, and writer, as he sat in a busy Austin night spot at 2am on Halloween doning a stay-at-home-dad costume. He was surrounded by skeletons, unicorns, Orange is the New Black characters, and zombies. Will was wearing an ensemble of Izod wind-breaker, pattern polo shirt, blue jeans, and stark white New Balance sneakers, tying the whole outfit together with a Cabage Patch doll in a Baby Bjorn. "I was going as a Stay-at-home-dad as a complete goof, but...I don't know." He trailed off. As he sat quietly drinking coffee watching his peers downing beer and eating nachos, he was pondering life's decisions that led him to a life in comedy. He picked at his burger and fries a little and pulled out his Moleskin notebook full of jokes and bit ideas and began writing a list; kale, spinach, ginger, carrots, apples, celery... "I'm going on a juice cleanse tomorrow." He said. "I know I've said that a bunch of times, but I need to make some changes."
You can catch Will Cleveland at The Institution Theatre on Nov 21st at 8 PM in Virgin Territory Hosted by Brently Heilbron!
