Mascara commercials confuse me. For example, Beyonce says if you need to “illuminate your lashes” and “unleash your eyes,” use L’Oreal’s Double Extend Eye Illuminator Mascara. I never knew eyes could be unleashed. Wouldn’t that make them drop out of their sockets, which would be an even bigger problem than un-illuminated lashes? And what about those “dangerously big lashes” by Rimmel London New Scandal Eyes Mascara? Why would you want lashes that are not only dangerous, but also in a big way? I thought we try to avoid big dangers. And I’m still scratching my head over Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto Voluptuous Mascara. Will your lashes look like long thin blades or long thin heels?
