MACGRUBER! Theme Song Sneak Peak!

If you're familiar with the series of quick 3-shot skits that comes from SNL's Will Forte-as-MacGyver satire, you're familiar with the basic layout of the theme song as well.

You're probably also aware that Lorne Michaels has decided that 45 second-skits using the comedy rule of three are so hilarious, it has no choice but to be brought to us as a 90 minute (or more) feature.

So here's an advance on the theme song for the new film:

Made a lot of feature films based on skits with catchy char-acters

And of those films only Wayne's World ever really made some money

Coneheads, Pat and Stuart, Roxbury, Blues Brothers 2K, Superstar

MACGRUBER!

All of those films have in common the fact they're funny in short bursts

'Cept for Blues Brothers and Coneheads that were made out of nostalgia

MACGRUBER!

So just picture in your mind the way MacGruber happens on the show

Take the time those 3-shot skits take which is roughly 4 minutes
