Details of an elaborate and mind boggling FBI scheme have been revealed today, where it’s believed that somehow an agent named Sean Archer was able to take the form of the notorious villain, Castor Troy. The government sanctioned operation went awry when Troy managed to do the same to Archer, resulting in the two men’s identities being switched.
It is believed Archer needed to take on the guise of Troy, who was in a coma at the time, in order to learn the location of a bomb located somewhere in the city. Quite how he was able to take on his form is still unknown, but many experts have attempted to speculate, including one in particular:
I suppose technically someone could have just swapped their faces. Hi-tech voice modification would then make it possible for them to impersonate each other.
However, the idea that this body swap was made possible purely by surgery and technology has been discredited by many, largely due to the differing height, weight, hairlines and body shapes of the two individuals. Another expert commented:
You can’t just glue another person’s face onto your head. For a start, you’d need to have identical skulls. The two men in question look nothing alike physically. The only way this could have been done is with some sort of soul swapping device.
Details are still scarce, but what is known is that Troy, having learned he was now in the body of Archer, disarmed the bomb himself earning heroic status. Meanwhile Archer, as Troy, ended up being incarcerated and having to escape what is being described as a ‘ludicrously unrealistic’ prison.
Archer was eventually able to kill Troy and take back his own form, but in a shocking twist, it is rumoured that Archer kept Troy’s son for himself as revenge for Troy killing his own son years earlier. Archer’s teenage daughter is reportedly undergoing therapy due to trauma caused by Troy, who in the guise of her Father, made ‘several sexual advances’ towards her.
More on this bewildering story as we try to understand it.
