Don’t call it a comeback, and also don’t call it a one-hit-wonder, and definitely don’t call it a band that’s only popular because of the Shrek soundtrack, because Smash Mouth will respond to you and it will be embarrassing (for both parties?).
As Gawker reports, whoever runs the Twitter for Smash Mouth has been trying to defending its honor through @-replies sent to anyone who acts like the band did not write and record several hits without any help from the famous, green, Dreamworks- trademarked ogre.
