The fake commercial aired during Wimbledon coverage in select local markets.

Will Ferrell is certainly no stranger when it comes to shilling for alcohol companies via bizarre local commercials, and, well, it would seem the master’s at it again. This time, Ferrell appears as the character Bagpipes O’Toole and subtly channels the ghost of Orson Welles while very drunkenly hawking a fake line of vodka. The commercial appears to have aired randomly during live Wimbledon in a just couple Midwest markets, so too bad all you southerners who hate tennis.

Of course, hard liquor ads are practically banned from television, so when you see that this is a promo for IFC’s upcoming season of The Spoils Before Dying, don’t be surprised. Also try not be surprised when you find yourself violently upset that scotch-flavored vodka isn’t a real thing you can buy.
