Dear @Drake (I know you've told me to call you Drizzy but I feel this letter should be a bit more formal),

I don't want to be coy or lead you on so I'll just come right out and say it, I unfollowed you on Twitter.

When I decided to make this tough decision I thought back and yeah, we had some good times.  Remember when you Twitpic'd that picture of you from your phone?  That was awesome!  It didn't have great lighting but I could definitely tell it was you.  And your location "Where the wild things are", you ARE wild.  And you know what, a lot of people don't value this, and I do, but you update your avatar regularly, I really respect that.

You didn't do anything wrong necessarily, I just follow a lot of feeds and yours isn't doing it for me right now.  As much as I enjoy you retweeting shout outs from your fans and emotionally vague thoughts about unnamed women, I just, I need something more from who I follow.  I'm sorry, maybe I'm asking for too much from you, but that's something I need to work on and until I work on it maybe I don't deserve to follow you.

Now, I'm not saying I'll never follow you again.  Maybe one night I'll have had too much white wine, I'll have been listening to Take Care and watching "Degrassi" and I'll see that someone retweeted something you said, like "H Town" or something and I'll follow you again (I mean, probably not, but maybe).

There are other followers in the Twitterverse, you have over seven million of 'em, hopefully losing this one won't hurt too much.

Sincerely and with my best,

@PeterLHarmon
