Local Band Sets Out on World Tour of Their Surrounding 15 Mile Radius
New Cannan, Conn. — Local grunge revival act “Truth or False” takes to Facebook to announce their upcoming tour.
“This is a big move for us. We usually just play at our drummer’s place when his parents are in Nantucket.” Said Kenneth Blakely, the frontman for “Truth or False.”
It’s out of the house and on to the road for “Truth or False,” as the four-piece band sets out to play in their neighboring towns of Wilton, Norwalk, Stamford and Darien— all located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
“We’re really looking forward to just living the tour life and getting our music out there.” Said Blakely, who describes the band’s sound as “Like New Found Glory meets Nirvana but way cooler.”
The week long tour concludes with a final show in their hometown of New Cannan, where the band will “Tear up” their drummer’s parent’s house once more. Frontman Kenneth Blakely has asked for us to note: “Dan’s parents get back from Nantucket that night around 11:00, so everybody needs to leave at like 10:00, maybe 10:30.”
