Throughout his presidency, President Trump has used his Twitter account to endorse Republicans in Congressional races nationwide. But now, he has officially taken it too far.
Today, Trump fired off a string of tweets endorsing Tanner Walther, a 6th grader running for school president at Gatewood Elementary School in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Not only is the relatively tiny importance of the position already cause for concern, but additionally, the husky 12-year-old is widely known in the school and surrounding Hopkins-Minnetonka community as a ruthless bully.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle should be worried about this egregious executive overreach by Trump.
And for the sake of the other students at Gatewood, we certainly hope Tanner loses.
