Remember that scene in the movie “Annie” where Albert Finney decides to adopt Annie and Ann Reinking announces it to all of Daddy Warbucks’ maids and butlers by singing a song called, “We Got Annie” and doing an elaborate dance number? You don’t? Oh, I guess you didn’t see that movie four times in one week the summer that it came out. And I suppose you didn’t create a fully choreographed dance routine to the song, “It’s A Hard Knock Life” that you still know, and actually performed last weekend when you were babysitting your niece. Wow. Ohhhh-kay. Excuse me for really loving my childhood and for being an amazingly gifted dancer.

Speaking of gifted: Judd Apatow, huh? He’s basically a comedy genius. So it makes sense that he would want to get on board the Funny Or Die train. A few weeks ago Adam and Will mentioned we had a big announcement over here at FOD and this is it. Judd is joining the Funny Or Die team. Take a deep breath, your head isn’t going to explode, it just feels that way right now because I pretty much just blew your mind.

So what does all of this mean? Well, for starters, it means there is going to be one more dude getting all up in my grill and telling me what to do. It also means that we’re incredibly excited because Judd is the tits and we’re thrilled to have him as part of the Funny Or Die family.

But mostly, having Judd on board means that the best and brightest talents in the world of comedy all have one place to share their comedy videos and one name on their lips. And that name is Amy. Do you like how I was able to bring it back around to be about me? You’re welcome. I am the youngest child so that’s how I do.

Welcome aboard, Judd Apatow! We’re lucky to have you.
