In olden days, intellectuals met at great lecture halls to discuss new ideas in front of a crowd of brilliant scholars. Today, these rigorous dialogues occur online and that academic discourse has been condensed to pointed comments about “cucks” a “feminazis.” To celebrate the great commentators who continue this tradition of academic debate, we searched through every Funny Or Die comment from the last week and picked out our favorites.
Note: These are real, actual user comments. If you have a great / funny / hurtful comment maybe you’ll see it in next week’s recap!
Starting off with a simple one. It’s short, specific, and conveys the message that our comedy is worse than the experience of fecal water splashing on your jeans.
A lot of folks accuse the Funny Or Die staff of writing “lazy” or “unfunny"videos and articles, but we rarely see someone pull the meth card.
A quick clarification question: how much meth is too much and how much meth is just enough?
Man, “unfuck” is a great verb. That was enough for me.
Damn if that’s not evocative. I haven’t seen the new Alien movie yet, but if it’s half as disturbing as the visuals I’m picturing from this comment, I hope Ridley Scott gets an Oscar.
“Funny Or Die is part of a coalition more dangerous than ISIS"is easily the best comment of the week.
I love the positivity and I love the idea of an Amish person named “Fancy.”
I spoke too soon. This is my favorite comment of the week.
This one legitimately made me feel bad for Tom. It truly feels like we wounded him with our attempt at sketch comedy.
Some context: this was on an article about tipping your waiters.
I’m including it because Hilton is one ice cold motherfucker and he or she doesn’t care who knows it.
Not sure if this was meant as a compliment or an insult, but I like it!
