There are several places in India that are full of enigma and mystery. Here is a list of some such places in and around the Rajasthan which is known for its royal and princely hospitality.

Kumbhalgarh Fort the Great Wall of India, Kumbhalgarh

The length of the fort wall is around 36 km, you will be amazed to know, that the Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second longest wall in the world just after the Great Wall of China. According to the legends of the area, the wall along the periphery of the fort was constructed to guard the primeval temples that are located within the fort premises. Om Banna Baba, Jodhpur

Om Banna The shrine of Om Banna Baba is located in the Pali district of Jodhpur. It is amazing to know that the deity in this shrine is that of a motorcycle. The model of the motorcycle is a 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet. The temple draws thousands of visitors from different parts of the world. It is believed this motorcycle belonged to Om Rathore who died on spot in an accident. Although he died, his bike has returned to the accident spot several times. Bhangarh Fort

Kuldhara haunted village

Kuldhara haunted village Kuldhara is a mysterious village which is located around 17 km away from Jaisalmer. Around 300 years ago, it was a prosperous village belonging to the Paliwal Brahmins. When a power prime minister of the state wanted to elope with the daughter of the village head, the council of the village decided to leave their ancestral homes and vanished overnight. Ever since, the village of Kuldhara remains empty and people less. It has now become a haunted and mysterious place.

Brijraj Bhawan Palace, Kota

Brijraj Bhawan Palace, Kota The Brij Raj Bhavan nin Kota, Rajasthan is around 180 years old. It is actually the residence of a royal family in Kota. It was later converted into a heritage hotel. It is believed that there is a resident ghost in the building by the name of Major Burton. He was killed by Indian Sepoys during the Mutiny of 1857. It is believe that although the ghost of Burton is un-harming in nature, it nonetheless slaps the guards when they are sleeping during night vigil.
