To Whom It May Concern:

I’m a dog lover and look forward to hearing from you soon to discuss arrangements. I live in Philadelphia and would require one first class ticket round trip for every day required to walk your dog(s).

As an active dog walker I am looking to expand my current business, so this makes so much sense. I will therefore need reimbursement for the carry-on charges for the fourteen (14) dogs that will accompany me to Inver, MN, round trip, each day.

These are exciting times for dog walkers! Thanks and tell me when arrangements are made as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Alan B. Cork

PS – I assume you will send someone to meet me at the airport each day. Make sure the chauffeur brings your dog(s) so I can do the walking outside the airport terminals. Thanks!

Why would I pay over $400 a day for a dog walker? I have one for $10 thanks.

Dear Cassy,

Thanks! I arrive at Minneapolis airport (MSP) at 11:50 PM this Tuesday. It’s a long flight, connections in Orlando (MCO) and Charlotte (CLT), so I’ll be tired but ready to work.

What kind of dog do you have and is there more than one? And what’s his/her name? Of the fourteen (14) I’ll be bringing eleven (11) are Terriers. Hopefully yours is a poodle or some kind of Beagle, which in my experience proves to be friendly with each other.

Look forward to meeting you at the airport Tuesday night!

Sincerely,

Alan B. Cork

PS – For an extra 10$ I can bring cats for them to chase. Let me know.

Dear Cassy,

I completely understand. The cats are on me.

Are you picking me up at the airport on Tuesday or shall I take a cab? If the latter, please provide an address where you need me to go.

Sincerely,

Alan B. Cork

PS – How’s the weather up there? (for packing purposes)

What do the cats on you mean?

From The Desk Of
Alan B. Cork?

Dear Cassy,

As a professional dog walker one is never without a knapsack with cats for incentive. And for warmth during those extra long walks. Especially in your part of the country. I would have expected a dog person like yourself to know this already.

These are tough economic times so a negotiation like this is not unusual. We can discuss in the car on Tuesday night.

Sincerely,

Alan B. Cork

PS – It might make sense to round up some other dogs in the neighborhood for me to walk, just to make the money spent worth while.
