An Important Message from the Folks at Mutt Media LLC
(And from the One-horned, Polka-dotted, Zebra-striped Albino Albanian Antelope at Mutt Media LLC, Which the Folks at Mutt Media LLC are Vainly Trying to Train to Recite “The Gettysburg Address”)
Originally, we the folks at Mutt Media LLC had planned to post the Ivan O’Uris poem “Discovered Imaginary Notes Passed Between e.e. cummings and Marion Morehouse (Circa 1951)” in the body of this blog entry.* However, because of technical issues, that’s impossible. The section of the poem that pays homage to e.e. cummings features special formatting that the Web sites that host this blog can’t handle, as we the folks at Mutt Media LLC learned when we repeatedly tried to post it and saw that the lettering looked screwed up, even for an homage to an e.e. cummings poem.**
Still, we’re committed to giving our readers in cyberspace top-quality entertainment. Therefore, if you wish to see the poem that was slated to be posted here as part of issue No. 14, please visit Larryville.com (formerly Lawrencian.com), where it appears in the poetry and essays section. If that’s too much to remember, then click on the following link: http://news.larryville.com/index.php/creative/45-ivan-ouris/384-discovered-imaginary-notes.
Take care. Look for more issues of “The Paperlessly Wallpapered I.O’U. Papers” soon.
*But not the one-horned, polka-dotted, zebra-striped albino Albanian antelope. He opposed it. At least we think so. It’s hard to tell with him sometimes.
**As of this writing, the folks at Mutt Media LLC were letting the one-horned, polka-dotted, zebra-striped albino Albanian antelope try to post it. The effort has been as successful as the effort to teach him to recite “The Gettysburg Address.”
