After Zach Braff recived over $2 million on Kickstarter to fund his film "Wish I was Here", he turns back to the crowdsourcing site to fund his latest project.

After receiving over $2 million, in less than three days, to fund his film Wish I Was Here, Zach Braff is back on Kickstarter to fund his latest project. His Electric Bill. In a promotional video, shot entirely in the dark, Braff explains, “I was about to pay my electric bill. But then I thought ‘hey, why don’t I let my loyal fans pay for it!’” After Braff saw the incredible way his fans rallied around his Wish I Was Here Kickstater campaign, he realized that he might never have to pay for anything ever again. "I can't help but think that Kickstarter can be a new paradigm for celebrities to exploit their fanbase," Braff announced. The perks for donating to Braff’s Kickstarter campaign include “The Comfort of Knowing that Zach Braff Has Electricity” and a “Replica Copy of Zach Braff’s Electric Bill”. When asked why he is donating to Zach Braff's Electric Bill, a backer said, “Just knowing that Zach Braff has electricity will help me sleep better at night. Every time he flips on a light switch, I know he’ll think of me." While Braff only asked for $200 to pay his April electric bill, he has already amassed over $1.5 million. Braff released a statement expressing his gratitude, “I’m so thankful for my fans. Without whom I would still have electricity, but I would have to pay for it and that would blow chunks.”
