HAM CLAMP... WHEN A PIG WAS BUTCHERED THE CLAMP WAS PUT ON THE LOWER LEG BONE AND MADE THE JOINT EASY TO HANDLE. THEY WOULD USE THE CLAMP TO HANG THE HAM IN THE SMOKE HOUSE AND WHEN THE HAM WAS READY THE CLAMP MADE IT EASY TO REMOVE FROM THE RACK.
THEY COULD TAKE DOWN THE HAM AND SLICE IT USING THE CLAMP AND THEN REHANG. OR THEY COULD HAUL THE WHOLE HAM TO THE KITCHEN OR SPIT...
