He was virtually or practically unknown until 2011 and all of a sudden, Hollywood is taking note of Enzo Zelocchi who is being touted to be crowned as the best actor in the near future. A man of few words, Enzo Zelocchi is passionate about his work and dedicated to his craft. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck had surprised Hollywood with their scripting of ‘Good Will Hunting’ and their acting prowess was certainly acknowledged while they were still young guns. Here is another young gun of this generation who is not only a writer and actor but also a director and producer. His specialization in media studies certainly suits the job of a producer but it is not commonly seen that a young man caters to four most definitive and distinct roles in filmmaking.
It is more impressive when this Hollywood star in the making does it with great gusto.
 
Enzo Zelocchi is not a celebrity who talks about run by the mill events, rather when he speaks, he can quote Gandhi at one instant and go over to Napoleon Bonaparte and before you know he would be able to quote a few Popes. For a moment, one would think if he is a Hollywood star or a philosopher in the making. His acting is certainly cerebral if that is a word that can be used as an adjective to describe acting skills. A trained actor, Enzo Zelocchi loves scripting and also does not have any inhibition to accept that his films are indie in nature yet highly mainstream. From what we could manage to realize from his movies is that he is certainly one of the best actors we have around. While some of his fans go on to compare his looks to be a blend of Johnny Depp and Robert De Niro, Enzo Zelocchi certainly has an aura of pleasant intellectuality in his looks as well as the way he portrays his characters on screen.
 
He had been busy just as any Hollywood celebrity would be, yet he says ‘Work calls for more work. I sleep when I get the time.’ We certainly have a dedicated and passionate man here who is not willing to compromise on any aspects of filmmaking. While we may or may not see Enzo Zelocchi in a Transformers movie, the likes of Guy Ritchie and Woody Allen and European indie filmmakers have certainly made note of the arrival of this talented actor.
