Why give up your parking spot when you can sell it?

We all know how much finding a parking spot at the mall can suck, especially a good one.  Mall parking can be one of life’s most stressful activities.  You keep circling around and around hoping that the person you spot is walking to the car in front of you.  And if you are lucky, some malls have concierge service which besides costing an arm and a leg, allows you the luxury of waiting 20 minutes to have your car delivered back to you.  Let’s cut to the chase;  below is the idea:

Here is how to make at least $200 on a weekend day. Find a prime spot, preferably in close proximity to a popular eating establishment – Cheesecake Factory is perfect.  The bigger the portions, the better, as people can to roll into their cars.  Put a sign in your back window that says “$20 and this spot is yours” and just wait in your car.  You know someone is willing to pay to end their misery.  I think you can do this at least 10-20 times a day.

This innovation can also work in popular cities like NYC or Chicago, where finding good parking spots is like guerilla warfare.
