You arrived on a Tuesday, my most anticipated set of abs…I unpackaged your beauty and wonder, taking many precious moments to stare…soaking in your wonder.

 

I quickly retreated to the closet…it was time for the abs and wine festival of my dreams…

 

How do I love thee, abs?  Let me count your ways…

 

  1. Rectus Abdominus - you are the most superficial of the abs…I do wish you would see the inner me…but I forgive you for not.
  2. Internal Obliques - without you, how would I flex my spine?...I will owe you so much after tonight…
  3. External Obliques - you hug internal obliques so well, the cute and cuddliness of it makes me giggle!  I also thank you for your ability to tilt my pelvis.
  4. Transverse Abdominal - oh dear, Transverse…you are the deepest of the abs…who not only makes my Pilates workout so effective, but also cuts to my soul…Transverse, I love you the best…I will touch you now as I laugh…and cough…you are beautiful.
