NFL Week 6

Jim McPartland

Unlike the Presidential race which I think is easy to predict at this stage, this week looks harder to me for some reason.

Anyone who watched the last 5 minutes of the Colt/Texan game knows things can change at any time. Never spend your money before the last whistle sounds. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one guy (QB Sage Rosenfels of Houston) single handedly give a game away with not one but two fumbles. I would have pulled him after the first when he tried to go airborne instead of just sliding- fumbled- and had it returned 80 yards for a TD.

I am 38-32-3 through week 5.

@ New Orleans                                7              Oakland

God knows why. I don’t.

@ Indianapolis                  4 ½         Baltimore

Peyton does not impress me at all. Once dangerous offense looks shaky. Ravens have good D, keep it close.

@ NY Jets                            8              Cincinnati

Without Palmer, Bengals can’t score. Farve with field day. POTW. NY 31-9.

@ Tampa Bay                    1 ½         Carolina

Tough but I like Gruden at home.

@ Minnesota                     13 ½       Detroit

Glutton for punishment. Noelle, can you not work your Wiccan magic here too?

Chicago                               3              @ Atlanta

I know SB- I said I wouldn’t do this to you. Blame me if they lose. 24-7 Da Bears.

@ Houston                         3              Miami

Texans win one at home. Miami playing over their heads.

@ Washington                  13 ½       St. Louis

Like Detroit, I just think they can cover.

@ Denver                            3 ½         Jacksonville

Could go either way.

Philadelphia                      5              @ San Francisco

Eagles need this.

Dallas                               4 ½         @ Arizona

Picking them fucking kills me.

@ Seattle                            2              Green Bay

Seattle sucked against Giants last week, but this will be close and I’d steer clear.

@ San Diego                      5              New England

They need it more.

NY Giants                            8              @ Cleveland

Keep it close at home.
