Lana Del Rey is totally cool. She’s a really important singer-songwriter right now. Her lyrics are basically my life and her melodies sound like the soundtrack to a glamorously boozy night in Brooklyn. I think she’s actually from Brooklyn, which totally proves her cred. It also helps that she comes from a really rich family. Hello, connections!

I don’t think it matters that she may or may not have sucked on live television. SNL hasn’t even been good since it first started—-you know, when Mike Myers was on.

Anyway, I think of her “dull” performance as more of a “fuck you” to mainstream music. She’d probably be really good at Coachella or something where the attendees are more attractive and hip.

Seriously though, stop hating on Lana, you wish you had those Bardot lips.
