Netflix' 'Fuller House' Reboot Finally Made Official, Unfortunately We Have No More Jokes

Can this House Get Any Fuller? Yes!

Two and a half weeks ago, the American internet was pummeled by rumors that Netflix is working on a reboot of Full House. The internet was immediately rocked, shook violently, and then eventually exploded. Since then, with everyone getting their news from old-fashioned newspapers and word of mouth after the internet blew up, everyone has been haunted by that lingering “rumors” addendum to any news on the reboot. UNTIL NOW!

In an interview with Kimmel last night, John Stamos revealed that the Fuller House (actual title) show is confirmed and a 13-episode season is definitely happening on Netflix sometime in 2016. Here’s the announcement:

Since the original rumors started circulating, people have literally made every joke possible about this new show. It hits all the sweet spots for monologue and social media joking since it lives in that weird zone between universally perceived lameness and universal familiarity and nostalgia. Since there are no more actual jokes to make and since we do have some new specifics about what the show will look like, I’ve put together a list of facts about the new show that you can read in the cadence of a joke with a famous comedian’s I-just-made-a-joke-face right in the middle.

Fuller House is in the news, did you see this? Did you hear about this? It will reportedly start with an hour-long reunion episode with as many of the original cast as are willing to sign on…

…Apparently, Bob Saget and the Olsen twins are still unconfirmed…

…also unconfirmed are lesser known stars Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin.

And I can’t believe this, folks, but here it is: After the reunion episode, the rest of the Fuller House season will center around DJ Tanner…

…who apparently will be pregnant and recently widowed.

I don’t know about you guys but something I’ve been following in the news is that DJ will also be the mother of two boys: 12-year-old JD and seven-year-old Max…

…JD is DJ backwards.

Any Kimmy Gibler fans in the audience tonight? remember her? Well, apparently she is going to be moving in with DJ to help out…

…but she also is a single mother. She’ll have a “feisty” teenage daughter, Ramona, to raise.

And of course, we have to talk about Stephanie. Have you guys been keeping up on Stephanie? You remember, middle child to Danny Tanner? Well, it turns out she is an aspiring musician in the reboot…

…and she also moves in with DJ to help out with the kids. Just like Jesse and Joey did in the original Full House.

We’ve got a great show for you tonight, the very talented Marisa Tomei is here and musical guest Band of Horses. Ladies and gentlemen, Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra!
