The US military is poised to begin air strikes in Syria, according to CNN. US forces are awaiting only President Obama’s approval to begin airstrikes on targets inside Syria. This is great news for beleaguered aircraft carriers, which will have slightly fewer heavy fighter jets on them.
President Obama also plans to provide supplies and training to US-friendly Syrian rebels. So between that stuff and the bombs we’re going to drop from the sky, get ready for a peaceful, ISIS-free, democratic Syria to kick in in around 40 years or so.
Hey, remember the Arab Spring? That was great, huh.
