During this week’s Comic-Con festivities, Conan O’Brien, Andy Richter, and staff have relocated their show to San Diego so they can see what’s going on and also nerd out so, so hard.

Their ConanCon (cute, right?) expedition started with them taking their show on the road. Not just any road, though, a Fury Road. Conan casts himself as the Doof Warrior, which, at the risk of sounding hyperbolic, is the best casting of all time ever on this Nerd Earth:

In the interest of giving back to the Comic-Con community, the folks at Conan held auditions for a new Wolverine to take over when current Wolverine Hugh Jackman steps down. They brought in some friends of the show to try out for the part, and although the studios don’t appear to have made any decisions yet, the actors on this reel had a lot of talent going for them, so it’s only a matter of time before one of them gets cast.

Finally, as if all this hadn’t already established Conan as a bonafied nerd (or is it Conan-fied nerd??? We thought of that one ourselves), the host took a Comic-Con Citizenship Test. Do you think he passed or failed? Watch the clip to find out!

And now that he’s solidified his nerd cred, here’s one more look at Doof Conan. Very cool.
