Aspiring revolutionary trying to write sketch comedy in a city with sixty (ok not sixty but close) blocks of Southern Baptist Downtown parking. In short, I've got the Red State Blues. I wrote, directed and produced a local sketch comedy troupe that performed a weekly sketch comedy show, all new material, every week, written by me, with a five dollar cover. The actors have moved on but stuck in Jacksonville, Florida seems my curse. Hoping for something fearless. Hoping to eventually be paid as a writer (mostly because my animals are high maintenance-- back, neck and hip...blah, blah, blah). I am a writer. Simple as that. And being a homo doesn't help. Nobody likes a gay girl anarchist. As my wifey's Dad once told me-- "you can't live off art and love." < less
