How can I get my video featured on Funny or Die's homepage?

Our editors are looking at newly submitted videos on the site every day, and they also check to see which videos are getting high ratings, lots of views, and lots of comments. We don't have a formal way for you to request homepage placement (we would get so many requests we'd have to hire a team just to go through them), but make sure you tell everyone you know to watch your video on the Funny or Die website, to send it to all their friends, and to vote "Funny." It can happen!

How can my video get into the Red Carpet Club?

The Red Carpet Club is a very exclusive treehouse where fabulous celebrities congregate to drink champagne. If you make a video starring true A-list talent, you have a very good chance of getting into the Red Carpet Club.

Why can’t I get the Video to play?

Make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash downloaded (http://www.adobe.com). If you have an older version of Adobe Flash player, make sure that you uninstall prior to downloading the latest version.

Please completely uninstall Flash before reinstalling the latest version.

Also, make sure that you have the latest version of your browser and player installed.

I never received my confirmation email, what went wrong?

First, check your spam folder. Next, try re-sending the confirmation email. Finally, you might want to try updating your profile to a different e-mail address if you have one.

What video file formats can I upload?

Funny or Die accepts video from .AVI, .MOV, .MPG, .MPEG and .WMV formats.

What is the Maximum size for an uploaded video?

Videos shouldn’t be larger than 1 GB in size. It is also probably best to keep your video under 10 minutes.

What can I do about a video that constantly stops and starts, or continues to buffer?

Make sure that you are on a high-speed connection with at least 500 Kbps.

Why can't I hear any sound while watching a video?

Check your volume controls on your computer and make sure your volume is not muted.

Which thumbnail image is shown after I upload a video?

We take many thumbnail images of your video. Edit your video after it has been encoded and you may select the one you like.

I want to delete my account. How do I do this?

Send email to requesting that we delete your account from the site. Be sure to include the username on the account so that we delete the right one.
